Start – TBD
It’s been a few years since David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach have played this festival, so we are so excited to announce that they are back! David is a fierce slide player and song poet out of Eugene, Oregon. He’s known for both his virtuosity and his spirit of emotional abandon. His live shows move from humorous subversive blues to delicate balladry and then swing back to swampy rock and roll. Accompanying David is Philadelphia’s harmonica virtuoso, Bob Beach – well-known for swaggering into a solo like the Marlboro Man while the rest of us are all left wondering how such a tiny instrument could possibly sound like that. David and Bob have been playing together since 2010, touring the US from coast to coast (and even Mexico). “David plays slide-driven country blues with a passion and authority that few artists of any age can master.” (Chicago Tribune)
